Petroglyph group II
Back to schemeThe petroglyphs were discovered at the site of a quarry that had ruined an ancient settlement. They cover the area of 4×2 square meters.
Scenes
The figures found in two separate groups are located at the distance of 2.5 meters from each other. All in all, there are 60 images and many of them show some impressive scenes such as a sea animal (white whale) boat hunting and obviously a fur-bearing animal winter hunting. The group contains a unique image of a dancing man with his hands up. The dancer’s movements are illustrated by his footprints engraved both below the figure and to the right of it.
